I’m not sure if I ever did mention this here on my blog but I do have my weekday job aside from my photography stuffs. Together with a friend, we run our own interior design practice on any other day. For the past two months, we’ve been busy with a big project for Says.my.
When we were approached by the CEO of Says.my, Khailee, we were really excited about designing their new secret hideout space as his ideas of an office coincide with our ideas as well! It’s not everyday that we get a client like this that thinks out of the box and breaks the expectation of what an office space should look like.
The honesty towards material was what the client wanted where instead of having a nice clean finish towards the surface, the place is left as raw as possible. Exposed ceiling, brick walls, cement rendered floors and crate wood wall surface broke the definition of an office space. Inspired by ikea hacks as well, we used ikea’s rubbish bins as light fittings.
Well, I won’t do much write up about the place now. We’re gonna do a proper photographing of the office space next week. So at the moment, enjoy some photos from the opening and stay tune for more! (:
Check out the Ikea’s rubbish bin light fitting (:
The space comes alive when people start using it the way we imagined it to be!
Hope you guys enjoy it and if you’re looking for an interior designer too, you know who to look for! (:
One of the things I love about Malaysia is the wide diversity of races that we have here in this land. Whether we are Malay, Chinese, or Indian we come together as one when there’s a celebration. Indian wedding in particular is something that I look forward to as the traditional wedding ceremony of it is simply beautiful and colourful as well!
I had the honor to document the joyous wedding of Vijay and Mages two months ago. They were fun and easy to work with and we had fun photographing the glorious occasion. Here are the pictures of the wedding. Hope you guys love it! (:
