Goodbye Autumn..

June 2, 2010

What do you know? Autumn has already ended and here comes Winter. The trees are almost balding and it’s getting colder as the day goes by. I never knew creation was this beautiful. The sight of yellow leaves all over the ground and the smell of fresh air is simply amazing. I really can’t wait for my exams to be over. Hopefully I’ll get to go New Zealand at the end of the month. As far as I know, New Zealand has a really scenic landscape. The thought of grabbing my camera and photograph it can make me go all ecstatic.

However, the highlight of my holidays would be spending 9 days in Sydney. I’m looking forward for the Sydney holiday a lot, especially for the seafood. And…and..of cuz I can’t wait for Hillsong Conference 2010!

Anyway, just enjoy the last few pictures from my Autumn collections. The next series would be pictures from Winter! (:

One of my favourite portrait of Autumn

This was photograph at Melbourne University. I couldn’t resist the idea of photographing my friends in front of this arc door (:

My first ever photojournalism. A peaceful protest was going on along Bourke Street. Lucky for me, I had my gears with me.

My favourite!

When I got a message from a college friend to take up a pre-wedding job in Melbourne for her sister last year, I got really excited! I’ve never taken an outstation job before and it was really a privilege for me to do so!

Here are the pictures from the shoot!

The white umbrella simply made this picture even more lovely

Alright thats all for now! I’ll update soon with other stuffs.

The love of guitars

April 5, 2010

As the Easter holidays kick in, I’ve been spending an awful time practicing on my guitar skills. It’s been years since I last practice on the guitar for hours. Somehow, I’ve finally found back that passion that I once had so strong. I have the drive to improve on my playing; countless of youtube videos to learn from. I remembered how much I love guitars at one point that I’ll practically eat, sleep, and play with my guitar. I’ll get guitar magazines from shops and start learning things of it. Not forgetting also, saving on my lunch money so that I can get myself new guitar pedals! I’ve been stagnant in my playing style for a long, long time. I think it’s about time I have my breakthrough. I’m gonna be better when I get back to Malaysia.

Anyway, here’s a sneak preview of the pre-wedding I did the other day. I’m half way through editting the whole lot of pictures. Enjoy!

Profile Pictures

February 12, 2010

A lot of people have been asking me lately “Do you take profile pictures?”

Well the answer is “Yes, I do!” Just a few days ago, Sern Yi asked me to take a profile picture for him. I agreed and decided to have something a little bit more ‘classy’ for him as the picture will be used for business purposes.

So here’s something to show you guys what I do.

Family Portrait Session

January 5, 2010

Today I had ample amount of time and I then decided to have a family portraiture session since my aunt and cousins are back.

It was really fun setting up the scene. I had to find my black cloth which I bought long time ago to photograph my architecture model. After that, I had tape it unto a wall for it to be my background. My tripod was on standby already cuz I didn’t bother keeping it the other day. I mount my flash unto my tripod and position it at a certain angle and distance away from my subjects.

Here are a few pictures that I took today.
