Hello!

It’s really been a while since I last posted something here..about 3 months maybe? My sincere apologies if you’ve been coming to the site and there weren’t any updates from me. I’ve recently revamp this website as well. A new template to the site gives a fresh look and also it does make the site looks a little more neat! (:

To kick start a new post, I’m gonna share the wedding of Soo Khee & Qian which we’ve covered a few months back. Soo Khee & Qian loved our works when we met up with them over a cup of coffee. We showed them our previous works on the iPad, which indeed is a very good tool for all photographers to have! I think most of the weddings that we’ve closed for next year, we wouldn’t have been able to do so without the iPad!

Some high key portraits

I’ve just finish editing the first batch of photos from the other day. What I really like from the first batch of photos are these two high key portraits of the couple.

Ooohhh! High key portrait does make me go a little crazy. I totally love how the high exposure background bleed through the picture. It does bring out the people in the photo a lot!

It has been a tiring month! Ever since I started my interior design work, I’ve been busy with 3D renderings, meeting up with clients and going on site. On the other hand, three photoshoots in the month of February were a good knockout for me this month. However, it’s always refreshing and a joy to see clients satisfied with a job well done. As for now, I’m looking ahead into the month of March for a few more weddings to shoot!

It was indeed my privilege to photoshoot the engagement of Andy and Connie. The wet weather and the gloomy skies didn’t stop us from carrying through the photoshoot. Within a tight period of almost 2 hours, we’ve managed to do quite a lot of shots. They both came prepared with props such as bubble guns, saxaphone and balloons! All I can say is that we had loads of fun doing their engagement shoot. Enjoy these series of pictures! (:

Hello second term!

My second term in Melbourne University started today. I’m really so glad that classes will resume next week because time will just fly by when the semester starts. I really can’t wait to graduate end of this year and get back home to Malaysia!

Autumn!

I think May is the last month of Autumn right now. Nothing is more beautiful than strolling in the park while watching the leaves fall off the trees. I could just sit in the park for hours and enjoy the smell of fresh air.

Autumn is really a great time to take out the camera and capture the scenic moment. I had the chance to do so yesterday after a few weeks of keeping my camera in the dust. I met up with Laula and Ally, whom are on holidays over here in Melbourne. We took a few shots around the park and we got really carried off! It was really dark when we met up. The sun set pretty early during this period. By 6pm the skies are already dark.

Too bad they aren’t a guy-girl couple or else it would make a lovely pre-wedding set..heh.

When I got a message from a college friend to take up a pre-wedding job in Melbourne for her sister last year, I got really excited! I’ve never taken an outstation job before and it was really a privilege for me to do so!

Addiction

I have a new addiction. I’m seriously hook to this stuffs. Whenever I feel stress, I’ll just take one out of the box and pop it into my mouth. Ahhhh..it feels good =)

Anyway, it’s week 7 already in university. 5 more weeks to go and my first semester is sorta over. Plus an additional 2 more weeks for my exams, I’ll be all ready for my winter holidays. I really can’t believe it’s the middle of April right now. Approximately 8 more months here in Melbourne and I’ll be back home in Malaysia.

I am seriously miss taking weddings a whole lot. For the past couple of weeks I’ve been getting lots and lots of inquiries for weddings in November and December this year but sadly I’ll be back in Malaysia in late December. I’ve a couple of dates booked in 2011 and I’m seriously looking forward for your special day! Maybe I should think of a promotional package to kick start 2011.

The love of guitars

As the Easter holidays kick in, I’ve been spending an awful time practicing on my guitar skills. It’s been years since I last practice on the guitar for hours. Somehow, I’ve finally found back that passion that I once had so strong. I have the drive to improve on my playing; countless of youtube videos to learn from. I remembered how much I love guitars at one point that I’ll practically eat,sleep, and play with my guitar. I’ll get guitar magazines from shops and start learning things of it. Not forgetting also, saving on my lunch money so that I can get myself new guitar pedals! I’ve been stagnant in my playing style for a long, long time. I think it’s about time I have my breakthrough. I’m gonna be better when I get back to Malaysia.

Anyway, here’s a sneak preview of the pre-wedding I did the other day. I’m half way through editting the whole lot of pictures. Enjoy!
